Heightened visitor restrictions have been put back in place at Washington County Hospital and Clinics due to rising COVID-19 numbers. To further decrease the potential of exposure of viral illness for patients and staff, visitors will no longer be allowed in the hospital facility. Exceptions will apply for hospitalized patients when it is deemed necessary by a provider during end-of-life situations.

In addition, WCHC Clinics, the emergency department, and outpatient services will be enforcing restrictions of only one caregiver or support person for each patient. It is recommended that patients attend appointments without a support person.

Only children scheduled for an appointment will be allowed into clinic facilities, siblings of any age will not be permitted. Patients and support people are required to wear face masks.

Also, the Pillars Gift Shop is closed.

The restrictions are to protect and provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
