A district title meant no shortage of representation for the Washington football team on postseason recognition, as 11 players were honored by Class 3A District 5. 

Six players were named to the first team headlined by unanimous offensive MVP in Trashaun Willis. The senior quarterback led the league with 27 touchdowns completing 52% of his throws for 907 yards and added 523 on the ground. Wyatt Stout, Spencer Sotelo, Kael Adam, Roy Carter, and Zayne Laws were also selected to the first team. Stout led the Demons in rushing with 585 yards and 11 touchdowns while compiling 36 tackles defensively. Sotelo had three interceptions and was the leading receiver hauling in 19 throws for 311 yards and seven scores. Adam and Carter anchored an offensive line that paved the way for a district leading 1,721 rushing yards. Laws was a force of a defensive lineman with 11 tackles for a loss and five sacks that ranked second in the league.

Four players were named to the second team in Jacob Miller, Wilx Witthoft, Reece Mayer, and Lucas Kroll. Miller was an electric punt returner with 24 yards per return and had 20.5 tackles as a defensive back. Witthoft registered 28.5 tackles and 226 rushing yards with three touchdowns. Mayer had 31.5 tackles including second on the team with nine for a loss. Kroll paced the team with 38.5 tackles and had 102 receiving yards reaching pay dirt once. 

Ethan Patterson was not on either team, but was named special teams MVP. The sophomore had 11 two point conversions to lead class 3A, completed 10 of 14 PATs, and managed 32.8 yards per punt.

The Demons finished the season 8-1 and captured their first district title since 2013.
