The deadline to apply for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2 for farmers and ranchers is December 11th. The U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency is reminding producers of the deadline. The program provides relief for those who continue to face market disruptions and associated costs because of COVID-19. The Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2 is providing up to $14 billion to eligible producers of certain row crops, livestock, dairy, specialty crops, aquaculture, and more.

This program is separate from the initial program and a new application must be submitted to be eligible for payment. To speak one-on-one with a USDA employee for general assistance call 877-508-8364, this is recommended before contacting a county FSA office.
