The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team scored a pair of River Valley Conference wins in Wellman Thursday night during fifth place pool play in the RVC tournament. The Hawks opened the night by sweeping North Cedar in straight sets by matching 25-21 scores. It took three sets, but Mid-Prairie won the night cap against Tipton 25-21, 20-25 and 16-14. On the night, the Hawks were led by Landry Pacha with 37 assists, Amber Swart had 23 digs and Ella Groenwold 14 kills. With the victories, Mid-Prairie is now 9-15 on the year as they get ready for Williamsburg on the road in the first round of regionals Monday.
