The Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team invaded Riverside on Thursday and swept Highland in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference matchup.

The Wolves cruised in the area bout to set wins of 25-12, 25-8, and 25-16. Jenna Buffington slammed home 11 kills and Keely Malone registered 13 assists. Kyndal Townsley helped the defense with nine digs and Melina Oepping was 20 of 22 serving with seven aces.

The Wolves improve to 11-4 overall, 4-0 in conference, and they host Danville on Monday. Highland drops to 2-7, 0-3 in the league, and they welcome Morningstar Academy to town on Tuesday.
