The Highland volleyball team fell short of picking up a road victory on Tuesday, as they traveled to Wapello and lost in four sets.

The Arrows won with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 24-26, and 25-12. Lindsy Massner had a big night for the home team with 16 kills. Dani Laughlin and Sarah Burton each had five kills for the Huskies and Laughlin registered 11 assists. Carson Mellinger impressed defensively with seven blocks and Burton had 19 digs. The team had an 88% serve efficiency with five aces.

The Huskies drop to 2-6 overall and 0-2 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference. They return home tonight to face Winfield-Mt. Union (10-4).
