Kalona residents have a few days remaining to enjoy the Kalona Community Pool before it closes for the season. Individuals will need to keep in mind the pool has a 60-person capacity limit and they can only attend one of two shifts. The first shift is from 1-3 p.m. and the second shift is from 4-6:30 p.m. The one-hour break is used to clean and disinfect before the next wave of patrons arrives. First priority will be given to residents within Kalona city limits. If the capacity limit has not been reached within the first half hour of a shift, daily passes will be sold to those in the surrounding area. Daily passes will cost $3 per person. Patrons will have until Sunday to plan their trip to the Kalona pool before it closes for the season.
