Mid-Prairie sophomore Rylee Vercande was recently named to the River Valley Conference honorable mention team for her work on the diamond over the summer. Vercande finished the year hitting .362 to lead the Golden Hawks. Her 17 hits and 10 runs scored were both best on the team. She also homered once and drove in five. Behind the plate she threw out four base runners on the year and made just three errors all season. The Golden Hawks ended the year with an overall record of 2-12.
