Three baseball players from Winfield-Mt. Union were recognized by the Southeast Iowa Super Conference recently being named all conference. 

Jacob Ford highlighted the Wolves’ selections being on the second team utility for the North Division. The junior put together a fine season at the dish finishing with a .500 batting average going 16-for-32 and driving in nine runs. Ford also had a bulk of the work on the bump throwing 19 2/3 innings and recording a 6.41 ERA. 

Christian Gerot and Dawson Bergthold were chosen as honorable mention. Bergthold had a .371 on base percentage and scored six times that tied for a team best. The senior also had a 6.10 ERA in 10 1/3 innings pitched. Gerot hit .265 offensively and also crossed the plate six times in the shortened campaign. 

The trio helped the Wolves to a 2-11 overall mark.
