The Mid-Prairie School Board approved the purchase of new math and science materials as part of their seven-year cycle of curriculum improvements. Math and science teachers from Mid-Prairie shared their needs in order to educate students with the current math and science standards. This includes purchasing new microscopes, online materials, and various software. Learning Design Leader Kristan Hunter says the costs for improvements to the high school and middle school science and math curriculum would be $79,853.34 and $77,846.04, respectfully. These materials will be paid for through the general budget and will be in teachers’ hands before the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
