The City of Wellman will finish up their semi-annual flushing of fire hydrants on Thursday. While this process is happening, citizens may see low water pressure, discoloration or cloudiness with their water supply. While the city says the water is still safe to use, customers should refrain from doing laundry if water is discolored or running hot water, which can make mineral sediments accumulate in a water heater. Work on the hydrants will be done from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
