A Washington High School senior has been named one of America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders and will be receiving a $1,500 scholarship. Sophie Bell has been selected as part of the America’s Farmers community outreach initiative. The program encourages rural youth to remain in agriculture by providing scholarships administered by the National FFA Organization. Bell is the president this year of the Washington High School FFA. The scholarships are sponsored by the Bayer Fund.
