The Washington archery team traveled to Center Point Urbana on Saturday for a tournament and placed third out of five teams.

The Demons recorded a team score of 3345 with 172 bullseyes. David Rees paced the squad with a score of 290 to place third individually out of 105 high school boys. Alexis Ide shot a 282 to rank sixth out of 96 high school girls. Other top Demon scoring includes Lane Frana 285, Cody McClanahan 285, Jonathan Moore 283, Samantha Mellinger 280, Paige Labelle 276, and Meghan Case 276.

Washington gears up for another home tournament tomorrow with the action starting at 8 a.m.
