The Washington archery team was back in competition on Saturday at Cedar Rapids Prairie for a tournament.

In the Bullseye competition the Demons placed second out of five teams with a score of 3366. David Rees paced the team with a 286 score that ranked third out of 106 high school boys. Alexis Ide had the top girls score with 285 to rank eighth out of 88 high school girls. Other top Demon performers included Jack Strabala 285, Anna Venenga 284, Meghan Case 282, Lane Frana 281, and Jonathan Moore 280.

Washington was also third out of five teams in the 3D tournament with a 1661 score. Jonathan Moore was fourth out of 39 high school boys with a 286 tally and Hayden Janecek was fifth out of 33 high schools girls with 283. Other performances included Davis Rees 286, Samantha Mellinger 275, Alexis Ide 274, and Meghan Case 273.

The Demons will next be in action February 22nd at Center Point Urbana.
