The 2020 Iowa Healthiest State Awards were announced with one Southeast Iowa early care facility taking home an award. The awards are given to cities, organizations, and schools that pursue the physical, social, and emotional well-being of their students, employees, and fellow Iowans. TenderCare in Mt. Pleasant was awarded $250 in the small early care category. The award money is given to continue to improve the health and well-being of the winner’s students, employees, or citizens.
