A man was arrested in rural Wellman on felony burglary charges Friday night. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 7:18 p.m. an officer checked on a wanted subject in the 1500 grid of Gum Avenue. Officers arrested 24-year-old Taylor Austin Stout for burglary in the first degree and violation of a no contact or protective order. Burglary in the first degree is a class B felony. Bond was set at $25,300 cash only. Stout was taken to the Washington County Jail. The charges are related to an incident that happened on February 3rd in Washington, where an assault was reported with a man using a baseball bat and a protective order had been violated.

Also, on January 25th, he was arrested in Washington after officers attempted to make a traffic stop and Stout failed to yield to authorities. He was then in an accident and fled on foot. He was apprehended and arrested for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and interference with official acts.
