The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team is on the floor for the final time in the regular season tonight when they host Monticello in a weather makeup. Last time out the Hawks were beaten on the road by No. 6 West Branch 63-25. Colby Rourke led the Hawks in the game with six points. On the season, Mid-Prairie is led by Myah Lugar at 10 points per game. She is also the team leader on the glass with 94 boards. Amara Jones has 74 steals and has dished out 61 assists.

Monticello comes into the game with an overall record of 15-5. The Panthers are ranked No. 12 in class 3A in the final poll this season from the Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union. Last time out Monticello scored a 44-30 win in Iowa City over Regina. Karli Recker led the Panthers with 12 points. On the season, Monticello is led by Jordan Kuper at 12 points per game. She is also the team’s leading rebounder with 197. Tori McDonald paces the Panther guard court with 87 assists. These teams met two years ago with Monticello winning 71-52 in Wellman.
