Hillcrest Academy sophomore Leah Bontrager was in action Saturday at the class 1A girls state cross country meet in Fort Dodge. Bontrager finished in 67th place overall with a time of 21:22. That time is a 54 second and five place improvement over last year’s run at state for Bontrager.
