The Sigourney Savages are in a festive mood this week as they take part in activities for Homecoming 2019. This year’s theme is “Fear the Night”. Students are participating this week in float building, dress-up days including pajama day, twin day, formal day and spirit day. Boom Night is scheduled for Thursday with a parade at 6 p.m. and activities on the square. This year’s Homecoming Court includes queen candidates Shelby Stein, Makenna Hammes, Noel Garringer and Heidi Clarahan, and king candidates Dawson Baumert, Dayne Fisher, Ben House and Zeke Webb. Homecoming festivities wrap up on Friday when the Savages host the Columbus Wildcats on the football field.
