The manner of death for a woman found in a farm field near Wayland has been undetermined. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa State Medical Examiner says the cause of death for 29-year-old Brandy Mae Shepherd-Margita of Anamosa is undetermined and toxicology testing continues. On August 9th, the body of Shepherd-Margita was found in a farm field along Highway 78 near Wayland. The case remains under investigation by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
