Three new school buses will be joining the Washington Community School District fleet in about four months. At Wednesday’s school board meeting, a contract to purchase three new propane buses was approved unanimously. Superintendent Willie Stone recommended going with School Bus Sales for $226,724. He explained these buses will have fiberglass storage compartments and all three will be propane buses and will all have seat belts on them. The buses will take 125 days after being ordered, and should arrive in January.
