By the time school starts in the fall, Iowa Mennonite School will have a new look.

The operating board and administration at IMS is hosting an open house next week to unveil their new school name, which will feature a mascot for the first time in the school’s history. The open house will give the public their first opportunity to see the new look. Last fall the operating board and administration announced they had been working with an enrollment catalyst to look at how to drive up enrollment. One of the ideas was rebranding the school and adding a new mascot with fresh logos. In their announcement last fall, the operating board said within possible changes, their core identity as an Anabaptist Mennonite school would stay the same.

The open house will be Tuesday, July 30th at Celebration Hall from 7-8 p.m.
