Art will fill downtown Washington starting Monday. The annual Gallery Art Walk will take over the downtown district. Photography, paintings, jewelry, fiber arts and more will be displayed in storefront windows around the square. The fifth annual Totally Tubular Transformation art project will also be displayed. Old water-softener tubes have become canvasses for local artists. The tubes will be auctioned off on the Central Park stage on July 27th at noon. Proceeds from the auction will benefit both the LET’s Center for the Healing and Creative Arts and Hospice of Washington County. Go for a walk in Washington July 15th through the 28th to take in local art.
