TEST 2

Two drivers were cited for operating while intoxicated during the 4th of July in Washington County.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, the first OWI charge came after they received a call of a man driving a golf cart all over the road in Wellman. Shortly after 7:13 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the call and cited 41-year-old Matthew John Rios of Wellman for operating a vehicle while intoxicated second offense. Just after 2 a.m. Friday 26-year-old Colby Niles Couce was cited for OWI first offense and speeding. From July 3rd-7th the Washington Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office made safe roads a priority.

In an effort to keep drunk drivers off the roads, law enforcement had zero tolerance to impared drivers during this campaign. Drive sober or get pulled over.
