Horseback rides, a kids parade, horseshoe tournament, and an ice cream social will all be part of the Keota Fun Days celebration. Join the KCII Big Red Radio at Keota Fun Days Friday and Saturday. Saturday’s events include a fun run, a grand parade, carnival games, and the 128th Keota High School alumni banquet. Friday’s events will be the next stop of the KCII Summer Town Tour.

KCII General Manager Joe Nichols says the Summer Town Tour is a great way to celebrate our local communities, “I’ve enjoyed doing the Summer Town Tours because, although there’s a lot of similarities every town is unique in what they do. So there’s always good fun, and there’s parades, and things for the entire family to enjoy. From usually the start of the day, a lot of them start with runs in the morning and finish with music and entertainment in the evenings, and all day long just a bunch of entertainment. So every one of them is different, like I said a lot of similarities, but they’re all unique. And that’s what makes it so much fun and why we wanted to do the Summer Town Tour to begin with.” The Big Red Radios will be making three stops on the KCII Summer Town Tour Saturday with Keota Fun Days in the morning, Kalona Day and Brighton Whoopee Days.
