Throw a no-hitter, rinse, and repeat. That must be the motto for the Highland baseball pitching staff, as they threw their second consecutive no-hitter on Wednesday night defeating Cardinal 10-0 in five innings.

Fresh off of a perfect game from Chase Schultz on Monday, Jacob Leonard had an encore performance against Cardinal tossing eight strikeouts to just three walks in the no-hitter. But, he didn’t stop there. The senior went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and one RBI at the plate. Brody Burton added two hits and three runs knocked in.

Highland looks for a similar result this evening when they face off with Burlington Notre Dame.
