
Hardware is headed back to Kalona from the Southeast Iowa Superconference North Division Championship meet Thursday at Mediapolis.
The IMS girls scored three conference titles as a team. Suzanna Yoder brought home a pair of titles, winning the 200 with a time of 27.69 seconds. She also took the 400 in 1:01.79. Yoder finished second in the 100. Leah Bontrager won gold in the 800, finishing with a time of 2:37.03. Other top finishes for IMS included Mackenzie Gutierrez eighth in the 200 and 10th in the 100, Ava Hughes 11th in the 400 and Sara Durflinger 15th in the discus. The IMS track team will next be in action for the class 1A state qualifier Thursday at Central City.
