A pair of published authors will be visiting the Wellman-Scofield Public Library Saturday. New York Times best selling authors Heather Gudenkauf and Kimberly Stuart will be making the trip to Wellman Saturday. Both authors are Iowa natives and graduates of the University of Iowa. Library Director Carol Wilkins explains how excited she is to have the pair stop by the library, “I think it’s fun to actually meet somebody who writes the book, ask them what was going through their mind and where they get their ideas. I think there’s a lot of dormant writers not knowing how to put their words on paper, and sometimes a lot of people will ask, ‘How do you get started? Where do you get your ideas? How long does it take?’ You know, all those kinds of things, and I think it puts a spark in people.” The visit will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wellman-Scofield Public Library.
