The Mid-Prairie auditorium doors will open for the spring play this weekend. This year students are showing their rendition of the classic “Pride and Prejudice.” The play is based off the romantic novel written by Jane Austin and follows the Bennett sisters who try to navigate through social and cultural obstacles to find true love. The cast includes Cooper Thomas and Lola Knight who play Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, Kyra Helmuth who portrays Elizabeth Bennet, Anessa Meader who plays Jane Bennet, Evan Meader in the role of Mr. Darcy, and Jesse Ferreira who plays Mr. Bingley. Curtains open at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, then at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mid-Prairie High School. Tickets are $5 students $10 for adults.
