Highland School Board Meeting April 8th

The Highland School District has approved the budget for the 2019/20 school year. The school board approved the budget unanimously following a public hearing Monday evening. The approved tax rate is $13.09 per $1,000 of taxable property value, which will equate to a total of $4,207,152. This is a 10-cent decrease from the current rate of $13.19, which was a $1 decrease from the tax rate in the 2018 fiscal year.
