The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls soccer team will see their first action against a live opponent this year when they host the Tipton Tigers for a scrimmage Monday.

The Mid-Prairie girls are coming off of a 1-10 season a year ago. Mid-Prairie returns their leading scorer in Elizabeth Baker who accounted for 12 of the Hawks 21 goals last season. Baker also led the team with a pair of assists last season. The Golden Hawks also return a pair of goalkeepers who saw time last year in Macey Smith and Erin Horesowsky. This is the first year that the Tigers have had a program. Action begins tonight at 5p.m. at the Mid-Prairie soccer complex.
