The Highland School Board will see the final estimate regarding a seven-figure renovation project. The district is looking to use a bond issue to replace the HVAC system within the secondary school, updates to the playgrounds to make facilities ADA compliant, and add storage space for the fine arts department. The original estimate was around $2.6 million. In March OPN Architects, the architecture firm hired by the district, gave their preliminary estimate which was closer to $3.2 million. OPN Architects will give their final estimate at Monday’s school board meeting.
