The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team traveled to North Cedar Saturday to compete at the 2019 River Valley Conference championship meet.
As a team, Mid-Prairie finished 11th of 14 teams with 83 total points. Isaac Boucher took the conference title at 195lbs with a 10-7 decision over Rowan Udell of Iowa City Regina. Other top finishes for the Golden Hawks included Mason Hartley taking fourth at 152lbs and Colton Allen fourth at 182lbs. Mid-Prairie will next be on the mat when they open up the postseason Saturday at Solon for sectionals.
