One Washington County 4-H member’s photo is one of 20 featured in a special gallery. Alex Murphy of the Washington Go Getters 4-H Club had a photo selected for the gallery by the Iowa 4-H Camera Corps. Across the state 4-H members may submit images each month for the gallery to coincide with a certain theme. Photos are then critiqued by professional photographers. The top 10 Juror’s Choice and top 10 People’s Choice photographs are then printed, framed, and shown at statewide exhibitions throughout the year. The Fairfield Arts and Convention Center is hosting the top photos from the theme “Looking Up.” The display will be traveling around the area through the end of March, and can be viewed at the Hills Bank in Washington during the month of January.
