A Washington woman was arrested after her child showed up at a neighbor’s house Thursday night. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 8:06 p.m. dispatch received a call that a neighbor’s four-year-old child had shown up at his residence without his parents.A sheriff’s deputy responded and went to the child’s residence and spoke with the mother. Authorities arrested 22-year-old Stephany Guadalupe Recendez of Washington for public intoxication and child endangerment. The child was taken to a family member’s home in Washington. Department of Human Services has been contacted. Recendez was taken to the Washington County Jail.
