Louisa County 911 lines were impaired on Thursday.

According to the Louisa County Sheriff’s Department, a fiber was cut causing issues with local phone lines, including lines to 911 services. Phone calls to 911 were received by the administrative lines at the Louisa County Sheriff’s office to ensure every 911 call was answered. Phone issues were reported for Columbus Junction, Wapello, Letts and Oakville.
