The Iowa Mennonite School and Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball teams will be back on the court Thursday when they face off in Superconference action.

IMS enters play with a 12-11 overall record. They were beaten Saturday in straight sets by top seed Holy Trinity Catholic in the Southeast Iowa Superconference tournament. On the year, IMS is led by Mia Graber with 137 kills, third most in the Superconference. Sami Miller has 217 assists, fifth most in the conference and Suzanna Yoder leads the entire state with 301 digs.

Winfield-Mt. Union enters play with an overall record of 8-10. In their last matches they were swept on Thursday in pool play at the Southeast Iowa Superconference Tournament by Central Lee, Mediapolis and Burlington Notre Dame. On the year the Wolves are led by Jenna Buffington with 128 kills, fifth most in the Superconference. Kayla Edwards has the team lead and is fourth in the Superconference with 230 assists. Kyndal Townsley leads the Wolves defense with 203 digs, fourth most in the Superconference.

These two teams met three times last year with IMS winning two of three but WMU winning in the playoffs. Action begins tonight at 7:30 at Hillcrest Union in Kalona.
