Title: Food Preservation Class
Description: The Lord’s Cupboard of Jefferson County is partnering with ISU Extension and Outreach is holding a free Food Preservation 101 class in Fairfield. The class is free to the public and will be held at The Lord’s Cupboard on Tuesday September 25 from 2-3:30 p.m. In this workshop participants will learn safe methods of home food preservation including freezing, dehydrating, pressure canning, and hot water bath canning, as well as learning about needed supplies and other ISU Extension resources.
