After a successful meet in Fort Madison last Thursday, the Washington cross country team is ready to compete again tonight, this time in Mount Pleasant.
Thursday’s meet consisted of another top-five finish from Evan Horak on the boys’ side and the top five girls on the team finishing within 11 places of each other. That meet pitted them up against all of the Southeast Conference schools, as well as Muscatine and future conference foe Burlington.
They’ll see the conference schools once again in Mount Pleasant, with the course located by the high school. The meet is scheduled to start at 4:30.
