After winning their third straight game on a last-second Brody Burton field goal, the undefeated Highland football team heads to Lisbon this week to take on the Lions.
Part of Highland’s success can be accredited to Trey Lasek, who leads the team in passing yards, passing touchdowns, rushing attempts, rushing yards, yards per carry (among backs with at least ten carries), and rushing touchdowns. He also has two interceptions on the defensive side, which is two more than he’s thrown offensively.
The last time Highland played against Lisbon in football was 2014, which was a team they lost to by 34 points. Four years later, the Lions have yet to win a game, being outscored 135-28 on the season. One thing is for sure: if these Lions play anything like their counterparts in Detroit did on Monday night, the Huskies shouldn’t have much of a problem.
Kickoff in Lisbon is set for 7:00.
