Bicyclists, joggers, and pedestrians alike are reminded of a closure on the Kewash Nature Trail starting tomorrow.
A project to create a spur that connects the trail with the Kirkwood Regional Center, and pave a portion of the trail extending west from Highway 1 will force a closure of the eastern portion of the trail at the Washington city limits. The project was funded by grants from the Transportation Alternatives Program, Resource Enhancement and Protection program, Washington County Conservation Board, the City of Washington, and the Kirkwood Regional Center. DeLong Construction is the contractor for the project, which is expected to be completed on or before December 31st.
