A Washington man was arrested for several driving offenses in Henry County.

According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at about 11:10 p.m. Saturday, sheriff’s deputies received a driving complaint in the 1300 grid of Highway 34 eastbound of a vehicle weaving all over the roadway and into the center median. Deputies responded and observed similar driving patterns. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle on exit 234 of Highway 34 into Mount Pleasant. Upon investigation the driver of the suspected vehicle, 25-year-old Cameron Bright of Washington, had a suspended driver’s license and could not provide registration or insurance for the vehicle. Bright was arrested and charged with driving under suspension, a simple misdemeanor, and cited for failure to provide registration and proof of financial liability.
