The WACO football team took to the road again last night to take on Iowa Valley, taking their first loss of the season in the process, 46-32.

The first half was a shootout, with both teams having scored 18 points going into halftime.  The third quarter was the difference-maker, however, with Iowa Valley scoring 12 unanswered points.  They would end up taking the win and bumping WACO to a 1-1 record.

Nik Coble was a difference-maker for the Warriors, throwing for 180 yards and three touchdowns and rushing for 85 yards.  Colton Horak was held decently in check, being held to less than 100 total yards (rushing and receiving) on the day after going off for nearly 200 against Janesville last week.

The Warriors will play their first home game of the season on Friday night when they welcome English Valleys to town.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.
