Mid-Prairie students and parents are encouraged to meet their bus driver this coming Monday at transportation night.

Transportation Director Teresa Hartley will use the evening to answer any questions from parents about bus routes, and get bus route assignments finalized with students. Hartley says it’s very important for students to get acquainted with their bus driver before the school year begins, especially for those new to riding the bus. Hartley comments on the bus drivers, “We have a wonderful group of drivers. We have a lot of years of experience with the group that we have. I’m very excited for people to hear that. That is something that we will do at transportation night that we’ve never done before is, I want them to introduce themselves and share how many years they’ve been doing transportation and being a bus driver. I feel that’s very important and so that parents understand the quality of drivers that they have.”

The Mid-Prairie Transportation Night will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday (8/13) in the multipurpose room at the high school.
