Just before 6 p.m. Monday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of people sleeping in an older Chevrolet truck in the parking lot at 1425 W. 5th Street in Washington.

Responding officers arrested 34-year-old Aaron Joseph Villareal of San Antonio, Texas, for possession of controlled substance marijuana, and a warrant for his arrest out of Texas for a parole violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest with vehicle.
