Those in need of food assistance can receive help this week.
The HACAP Mobile Food Pantry will make its monthly stop in Washington and Brighton this Thursday for Washington County residents to select fruits, vegetables, dairy items, and grains. Coordinator Bob Andrlik shares how residents can receive food, “Well we have a basic eligibility chart that they sign off on when they come to a pantry but we don’t require any proof of income or even proof of identity per se. So it’s basically the honors system so when they sign that form they’re acknowledging that they fall within those parameters for size of household and yearly income.”
The HACAP Mobile Food Pantry will be at Brighton City Hall from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington from 1-2 p.m. this Thursday.
