At 8:44 Friday evening, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office made a vehicle stop at the intersection of 2nd street and 9th avenue in Wellman.
Authorities arrested 24-year-old Nathan Richard Atkinson of Wellman on a Washington County warrant for possession of a controlled substance cannabidoil [1], third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Subsequent charges are pending per DCI lab results.
