Des Moines-based band The Nadas will be rocking the City of Riverside when RAGBRAI stops in town.
Organizer Kevin Meller says The Nadas will be playing at about 1:15 p.m. July 27th at Hall Park, as well as Two-Bit Maniac, the Tanya English Trio, and Andy Callahan. Meller shares the feedback Riverside received after the pre-inspection ride last month, “Well we learned we have a really nice venue, we got a lot of natural shade, we’ve got a wonderful stage, we’ve got a great area for vendors, there should be plenty of bike parking. It was really a boost of confidence for us to know, ‘Okay, we’ve got the venue.’ They’re very excited with our entertainment, they think The Nadas and the other bands, we have a great lineup so it should be a fun day for everybody. So it was really just kind of a confirmation that ‘Hey, we’re on the right track, keep up the good work.’”
The Riverside Area Community Club is selling RAGBRAI t-shirts with the slogan “Ride Long and Prosper” with all proceeds going to the Highland ESO. Find more information and sign up to volunteer at riversideragbrai.com or visit the Riverside RAGBRAI Facebook page.
