Washington’s annual town celebration the Summer Classic begins Thursday and wraps up Sunday.

The four-day event is packed full of activities for all ages. Thursday is Ag Day and includes an agriculture display around Central Park, the weekly farmers’ market, 100 swamp white oak saplings being given away, and an antique tractor parade from 4-6 p.m. Friday is Family Day with children’s activities in Central Park, a free swim at the pool, and Main Street Washington’s 10 Year Anniversary Mardi Gras-themed celebration with a shrimp boil, live music, and the first Movie on Main Street for the season – The Princess and the Frog. Saturday is the 71st Ridiculous Day with sales around the square, followed by Flightline Live at the Airport. Sunday wraps up the events with the Fly In Breakfast at the airport, and the Latino Festival in Central Park with live music, food, and dancing.
