Four area high schools will have golfers competing in the Iowa State Girls Golf Tournament this week.

The Washington girls team qualified by winning their regional championship in Davenport. They’ll compete in Class 3A in Ames. Individuals qualified from Mid-Prairie, Winfield-Mt. Union and Columbus Community; they include Paige Slabaugh of the Golden Hawks, Lexee Hartsock of the Wolves, and Aubrey Duncan for the Wildcats. The state tournament will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, listen to KCII Sports for details and results.
